
Headlining the 2009 Fall Fest Arts & Crafts Show will be Hamilton resident and potter,
Jerry Brown, shown with his coworker, Blue, who helps Jerry mix his clay. Brown was
named a National Heritage Fellowship recipient in 1992 and honored with a display in
the Smithsonian Institute. In 2003, Brown was awarded the Alabama Heritage Award by the
Alabama State Council on the Arts.

James Brassfield, of Hamilton, is
scheduled to participate in this year's
Fall Fest.
Brassfield's specialties are turkey calls and homemade knives.

Missy Miles, a gourd artist of
Wayside in Fayette County, is
returning again in 2009 to Buttahatchee River Fall
Fest. In addition to being a
crowd favorite, Miles has been
recognized at many shows
throughout the Southeast for
her artistic creations.
