HANDMADE. Otherwise, please make application with the Hamilton Area Chamber of Commerce for a

All applications are subject to approval by the BUTTAHATCHEE RIVER FALL FEST screening and selection committee. This is NOT a juried arts festival, but screening is in place in order to maintain quality of products and ensure community standards are met.

The Northwest Alabama Arts Council, the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, and/or the Buttahatchee River Fall Fest reserve the right to refuse any application.

You will be notified by phone, postal mail or e-mail no later than Monday, October 18, 2010 of your application’s acceptance or rejection.

NO refunds will be issued after Friday, October 18, 2010.

NO PERSONAL CHECKS will be accepted. We only accept money order, cashier’s check or PayPal available through our web site: www.hamiltonfallfest.org

There will be a $25.00 late registration fee after Friday, October 15, 2010. Late and onsite registration will be permitted, depending upon availability of booth(s).

NO sale of animals allowed.

NO weapons of ANY type permitted. (This includes toy guns)

NO items with obscenities or any items which are deemed inappropriate or do not meet community standards.

The BUTTAHATCHEE RIVER FALL FESTIVAL will be held rain or shine.

There will be NO demand refunds in the event of inclement weather.

The BUTTAHATCHEE RIVER FALL FESTIVAL is held in downtown Hamilton, Alabama – in and around the Court Square of the Marion County Courthouse and throughout the downtown area.

This is an OUTDOOR festival. It is the responsibility of each vendor to be prepared for inclement weather conditions.

Set-up time begins on Friday, October 29th at 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and resumes again on Saturday, October 30th at 6:30 am to 8:00 am. For ease of traffic flow, we ask every vendor to unload their merchandise into their booth, move their vehicle and/or trailer, and then return and set up your booth.

All vendor vehicles MUST be moved no later than 8:00 am on Saturday, October 30th.

Please report to the NORTHWEST ALABAMA ARTS COUNCIL booth located on the South corner ofthe Marion County Courthouse upon arrival. Upon check-in, you will receive your booth assignment and a “Certificate of Participation.” This certificate MUST be displayed in your booth throughout the festival and be visible to festival or law enforcement officials.

Booths are NOT to be taken down earlier than 4:00 pm Saturday, October 30th. Anyone who disobeys this rule will be barred from future festivals for noncompliance.

If you have requested electricity for your booth(s), you will be responsible for providing your own extension cord. Please bring duct tape or other appropriate covering to secure the cords that you use in and around your booth(s).

The Northwest Alabama Arts Council and the Hamilton Area Chamber of Commerce sincerely appreciate your participation in Hamilton’s 2010 Buttahatchee River Fall Fest (BRFF). All proceeds from the arts & crafts section of the BRFF will go to support local art education programs sponsored by the NWAAC. We are an official 501(c)3 nonprofit organization supporting the arts and art education in northwest Alabama.
